Had my last jaunt on a train for this escapade last night...

After so many hours on the trains, I think I'm truly going to miss riding the rails in India. It is one of the most unique traits of this land and like the roads (remember iLife), it is easy to become addicted to the rails and all of the joys and frustrations they offer.

Spent the morning discussing life, India and American politics, religions, our cultural similarities and differences, marriage, economies and money, family, language, building construction, climate change, cricket, and pretty much anything with a very nice young man at the train car's door...also known as the water cooler in Sleeper Class.

Should have maybe not been so close to the edge...
But since it wasn't my first rodeo...
It's not a big deal.
Now I'm here...

माँ गंगा
The Ganges

मांगलिक
It's a mystical place that can only be experienced. Maybe everything you've heard or read about her is true...but regardless of whatever that could be...there is definitely a unique vibe on an auspicious level.

A sacred and special place for many people. Maybe we all need a sacred or special...some say happy...place that we can escape to or take a break at. Maybe having this type of place is another piece of maintaining a balanced life's puzzle. Find a place.

Tomorrow's a secret...and it wasn't on the original itinerary. In my truest fashion of traveling where there's usually a twist, I'll be gone early in the morning.

Check back later to see what all the hype is about ;)
