Another day, another challenge...

This evening I am able to report that Operation Cobra, which was requested by a friend, was successfully completed this afternoon.

Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

(Music playing in the background by the gentleman in the orange shirt...cobra appears)
"Cobra" -White Shirt
"I see that" -Me
Whispers:
(Places turban on me) "You are now Maharaja...look, no poison" -White Shirt
"You sure?" -Me
"No problem...have picture" -White Shirt
"Was that a snicker?" -Me
(Crowd starts to gather)
Mumbles:
"Wait...nahi (no)!, nahi (no)!...son of a..." -Me
"Looks good!" -White shirt
(Crowd has now grown and is showing enthusiasm for cobra vs foreigner)
After these pictures and I assume many more by the crowd...cobra is put back in basket, music stops, and turban is returned...adrenaline begins to go down.

No injuries, everyone is happy.

Challenge complete. √

Another day, another monkey(s)...

Had the opportunity to visit and experience another monkey "area" today (locally referred to as Monkey Temple). More walking/hiking up/down hills et cetera...more space this time than the last adventure...however, no "good" escape plan with the elevation and rocks...plus I'm feeling relatively "comfortable" in these situations now (also known as: decline the offer from the boy who is the self-proclaimed "protector" who is charging 100 INR)...but still...monkeys. :)

A little secret...

This time I've brought ammo (peanuts)...

So in order to enjoy an extraordinary view like this...

You've got to be ready to deal with this...

They're everywhere...think X, Y, and Z axis.
By doing something like this (plus - just a little bit of - keen situational awareness)...

Thanks for the assist Flat Stanley
What about the extra ammunition you ask?

Harmony.
Share it with the others...sharing is caring.

Overall...there were no "big" problems during the trek. A few minor incidents that required a rapid change of plan and/or action. For the most part, the incidents were occurring among the monkeys. I almost lost my water bottle, but have seen the typical monkey steals water bottle event before...so I was ready.

Another awesome example of pushing the limits of travel and how amazing it can be.

Life...always keeps you guessing...and wanting more :)
