Immerse.

Culture of the mind must be subservient to the heart – Mahatma Gandhi

Stay in tune...Center your Chi...Live in the heart. Balance.

Only when heart and mind are harmonious can one be totally immersed in a culture (any culture, both known and unknown). Then...

Love it. Venture off a beaten path. See something new. Truly pay attention to every surrounding. Let your...no...make your heart race. Forget what you think you know. Enjoy what is different and not understood...think about it, consider it, attempt to understand it...

Like infrastructure life (iLife)...

I'll never understand it in this country. One time, I was addicted to Kathmandu iLife. I stinking loved that thrill. Still miss it every now and then. Then...I came to Mumbai. It's Kathmandu iLife on steroids and then some. Live fast...and it's just "a little" crowded/congested over here. Snicker.

But nothing can beat my attempt to blend-in, ebb and flow with Mumbai iLife...More people in this city than my entire state. It's part of immersion.   (Want to see a video?)

Perspectives. First immerse. Blend with what's around, all that's new. It's going to get interesting.

Starts on the streets. Then on a boat. Deep in a cave. Running from a monkey. Back to the grind. Finally sitting in good company. Immersion starts to set in. And looks a little like this...

Best Naan to date.
